Hey everyone!! My name is Courtney Chalmers. I am a third-year pre-med student at the University of Florida. I am a health science major in the College of Public Health and Health Professions. I have experienced the stress of pre-med and the uncertainty of picking classes, extracurriculars, and maintaining a social life. I am starting this blog as an independent study through my college, but I hope that it will bring perspective and relief. It is also a place where you can ask me questions via email and Instagram!

I plan to take a Gap Year between my Senior Year and Medical School. However, I will provide information on applying to medical school on a typical and Gap Year timeline. Everything I post is my opinion based on my experience at UF. I am in no way a perfect student, but I have a lot that I am excited to share with you all!
